Rhino CamThe most extraordinary carpet is about to go up agains the fiercest of beasts. Mohawk SmartStrand made with DuPont Sorona renewably sourced polymer has been installed in the enclosure of a rhinoceros at the Birmingham Zoo in Alabama. Mohawk and DuPont are broadcasting live from the home of Ricko, a 12 year old, 2,800 pound Black Rhinoceros. Check out the live video feed.

We're calling it the SmartStrand Rhino Challenge.

Until August 28, Ricko the Rhino will live on SmartStrand and the whole world can watch every single moment from one of four 'Rhino-Cams' installed at the zoo. All of these live feeds will be available at SmartStrandChallenge.com.

Following Ricko's time on the carpet, we will remove all 1,040 square feet and clean it using Mohawk FloorCare Essentials products. Video documentation will follow SmartStrand through and you can bet that the carpet will live up to this promise:

If SmartStrand can stand up to this wildlife, it can stand up to your wild life.
